New Delhi : Dwarka District Police has been conducting several campaigns to generate awareness of COVID-19 among the public. They have also initiated various modes for the prevention of spread of Corona Virus and with the co-ordination of general people, Dwarka District has succeeded in successful implementation of lock-down.
Recently, Dwarka District Police got modified few helmets in the shape of Corona virus. Few public volunteers dressed up like Human Corona and sensitized the general public about the preventive measures to be adopted for stopping spread of said Pandemic disease and tried to give a message “Please stay at home, follow the lockdown guidelines issued by Govt. of India, come out from house only in case of emergency with mask and keep social distance, Social distancing is the main key to remain safe from Covid-19.”
As usual, on 30.04.2020 Dwarka District police again conducted Corona Awareness Campaign in the area of PS Dabri under the supervision of Sh. R P Meena, Addl. DCP/Dwarka District. The police team, comprising of Inspr. Hemant Kumar, SHO/PS Dabri, SI Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, HC Manish Madhukar from Dwarka Community Policing team along with 04 public volunteers i.e. Manish, Sanjeet, Sanjeev & amp; Vinod who dressed up like a human Corona conducted the awareness campaign. Initially, the team conducted foot patrolling in Darbi area and the Community Policing Vehicle following the patrolling team kept announcing awareness message about the
Corona pandemic disease and the precautionary measures.
Thereafter, the team arrived at police picket deployed at Dada Dev Temple,
Dabri and interacted with the public persons, who were being stopped for checking of
movement permission. The human Corona requested all public persons with folded
hands to keep themselves safe from the pandemic decease by adopting preventive
measures. The public persons found without mask were also gifted a handmade mask
prepared by lady cops of Dwarka District in YUVA Centre of Dwarka District.
Note : This campaign is getting overwhelming response of public. Public were making
video of the campaign and listening the announcement of preventive measures were
carefully.
