New Delhi : On 10.06.2019 at 12.08 PM, the PCR staff comprising HC Bijender Singh and Constable (Dvr) Pramod Kumar received call regarding snatching of mobile phone by two boys at Gol Market, Mubarakpur Dabas near Sukhi Nahar, Delhi. PCR staff swung into action and reached the spot within two minutes and met the victim.
The victim narrated the whole incident to the PCR staff and after collecting all vital information, the staff intensified searches for the culprits on the possible escape routes. In the process of their search, they noticed two boys in a suspicious condition in the nearby street. On seeing the police, the boys started running away from the spot, but the PCR staff chased them and succeeded to apprehend one of them namely Lokesh r/o Sultan Puri, Delhi. The snatched mobile phone VIVO, I-93, Black Colour and 25 other SIM Cards were recovered from his possession. The person apprehended was handed over to local police along with the recovered mobile phone and SIM Cards for taking further legal action. A case FIR u/s 379/356/411 IPC P.S. Prem Nagar has been registered in this regard.
The MPV staff of Rohini Zone has displayed commendable presence of mind,
professionalism by apprehending snatcher and recovering the snatched mobile phone along with 25 SIM Cards from his possession.
