New Delhi : With the arrest of accused persons namely 1.Rahul s/o Upender Thakur R/O 363 type 2nd Krishi Kunj Delhi 2.Honshiyar Singh S/O Bajrang Singh R/O Flat No.288 Krishi Kunj Delhi 3.Himanshu Pratap Singh S/O Anil Kumar R/O WZ 102,Vill Dasghara Delhi. the police team of PS Inderpuri has worked out 13 cases of auto-thefts and one snatching and burglary case each. The team also recovered 09 stolen two-wheelers at the instance of accused persons.
INCIDENT, TEAM & INVESTIGATION
In the wake of spurt in auto theft cases in the area, night patrolling in the area of PS was strategised and intensified on the directions of senior officers. The continious efforts of staff of PS Inderpuri consisting of Asi Suresh.,Hc Dinesh,Hc Hanuman, Ct Rajkumar,Ct Ravinder& Ct Kapil led by SHO/Inderpuri under supervision of ACP/Mayapuri bore results as the team arrested following auto lifters while they were apprehended roaming around in the night on a stolen bike of PS area. Their interrogation initially led to the recovery of three more Bullet m/cycles
The other recovered bikes are stolen from PS Uttam Nagar, ps Ranhola area,Ps Naraina and one from Inderpuri. Furthermore the accused have confessed their involvement in total 13 cases of auto-thefts and one Burglary in Inderpuri .
Thereafter two days PC remand of accused Rahul and Hoshiyar was taken from concerned court. Their sustained interrogation further led to the recovery of 5 more two-wheelers. Also both the accused confessed to have committed a burglary case in Inderpuri area.

MODUS OPERNDI OF ACCUSED
During sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that they learned theft technique from Google i.e. how to unlock and start the vehicle without key. Firstly, they experimented theft techniques at home and got success after many attempts. later on, they have stolen motor cycles from different areas of Delhi. They also disclosed that they are planning to dispose off motor cycles by making forged and fabricated documents. But they were apprehended and not success in their plan.
PRFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
- Rahul Kumar s/o Spender Thakur R/O Flat NO. 363, Type-II, Krishi Kunj, INderpuri, Delhi, Age 23 Yrs. He was studied upto class 12th and basically he belongs to District Shamasti Pur in Bihar. His father was expired and his mother was working on compensation ground in PUSA agriculture institute. He has the burden to marry his five sisters. Therefore he made a gang along with Himanshu and Hoshiyar to earn easy money by selling the stolen vehicles.
- Hoshiyar Singh S/O Bajrang Singh R/O Flatt No. 288, Type-II, Krishi Kunj, Inderpuri, Delhi Age:- 23 Yrs. He studied ITI from PUSA ITI and permanent resident of Rajasthan. He has the diploma in photoshop, coral Draw and in design. He suggested Rahul that he is expertized in Photo shop and he can prepare forged/fabricated documents i.e R/C of any Vehicle on computer.
- Himanshu Pratap Singh S/O Anil Kumar R/O WZ-102, Village- Dasghara, New Delhi Age-24 Yrs. He studied upto class 12th and basically belongs to Baliya District, UP. He is relative of mastermind/ gang leader Rahul.
