On 05.06.2019 at about 02.24 PM, the PCR staff comprising of HC Mam Chand and HC (Dvr) Narendra received a call that an auto lifter has been caught while fleeing with a stolen motor cycle at Opposite PS Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. PCR staff swung into action and reached at the sport immediately.
They met the caller Sh. Mahendra, who was holding the suspect, in the meantime by seeing the arrival of PCR staff, the suspect managed to ease the grip of the caller and started to flee from the spot. The alert PCR staff chased and apprehended the suspect namely Laxman, BC of PS Shalimar Bagh, Delhi and it has also been revealed that the suspect was also involved in many other criminal cases. The motor cycle bearing No. DL-8S-CXXXX pertains to the victim has been recovered from the possession of the suspect. A case FIR No. 268/19 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Shalimar Bagh has been got registered and further investigation taken up by local police.
The MPV staff of North West Zone has displayed commendable presence of mind, professionalism, and sense of duty and apprehended one auto lifter and recovered the stolen motor cycle.
