New Delhi : 25.05.2020, Sh Ram Narian reported that on 15.05.2020 at 11:00 PM he was present near his house. Suddenly, one
unknown person came on foot and snatched his mobile phone from his hand and ran away. In this regard a case vide FIR no 546/20 u/s 379/356 IPC was registered at PS Chhawla.
TEAM & INCIDENT :
PS Chhawla staff is being motivated and sensitized regularly to nab the criminals found indulged in criminal/illegal activities. The crack team consisting HC Dinesh, Ct Mukul, Ct Rakesh were conducting intensive checking of vehicles at Dabbu Chowk, Qutub Vihar, Goyla Dairy. In the meantime, a secret information was received that one person involved in snatching would pass through Dabbu Chowk, Qutub vihar, Goyla Dairy. The information was shared with Inspr. Gyanender Rana, SHO/PS Chhawla. Accordingly, the team laid a trap under guidance of Sh Ashok Tyagi, ACP/Chhawla.
At around 5:00 PM, the team succeeded in apprehending one person with a car make of Santro. The driver was identified as Pardeep s/o Prem nath r/o Goyla Dairy, Delhi. On checking, the car was found stolen vide eFIR no 011067/20 u/s 379 IPC registered in PS Chhawla. During his cursory search, one mobile phone also recovered from his possession. During investigation, the recovered mobile phone was found snatched vide case FIR no 546/20 u/s 379/356 IPC of PS Chhawla.
ACCUSED PERSONS DETAIL:
Pardeep, Age 22 Yrs S/O Prem Nath R/o Jhuggi , Goyla Dairy ,Delhi (He has been found previously involved in one snatching case)
CASES WORK OUT: 04 cases of snatching/MV theft of PS Chhawla have been worked out with his arrest.
RECOVERY:
1) Santro car stolen vide eFIR No 011067/20 u/s 379 IPC of PS Chhawla
2) One mobile phone vide FIR no 546/20 u/s 379/356 IPC PS Chhawla
Further investigation of the case is in progress.
