New Delhi : In an ongoing efforts to combact COVID -19 in west District , an initiative under the aiges of CARONA RAKSHAK is launched with imdt effect. In the scheme services of 5 genuine volunteers who are physical fit preferably under the age of 45 years are engaged to help West Distt Police for various Public Interface Points Viz Essential marketing stores, contentments zones, lockdown pickets public announcement slum clusters and effective enforcement in lockdown. The selected volunteers are given specific indicative T-shirt to be worn at the time of duty. The scheme will not only beneficial for effective lockdown but also strengthen police public relationship especially of the residents of West Distt
