New Delhi, Dwarka District : With the arrest of accused namely Rahul @ Poli S/o Deep Kumar R/o 214, Kaba Mohalla, Village Chhawla, Delhi, aged 21 yrs., the staff of PS Chhawla has shown excellent work by making recovery of one robbed Auto-rickshaw, one mobile phone from his possession and a case registered vide FIR No. 185/19 dated 15.05.2019 u/s 392/34 IPC in PS Chhawla has been solved.
TEAM, OPERATION & INVESTIGATION:
On the intervening night of 14/15.05.2019, during patrolling Insp./ATO Krishan Kumar & Ct. Pardeep noticed one person (victim) age 40 yrs, R/o Dharampura, Najafgarh, Delhi without clothes near Nirmal Dham, Chhawla, Delhi. On enquiry, he reported that two unknown persons robbed of his Auto-Rickshaw (number withheld) and one mobile phone. Even his undergarments were removed and taken away by the robbers so that he would be unable to move openly and also cannot make any complaint. He further informed that his auto-rickshaw is fitted with GPS.
The matter was informed to SHO/Chhawla Inspr. Aishvir Singh. Accordingly, a strong team was constituted under the leadership of SHO/Chhawla, comprising of Inspr. Krishan Kumar, SI Gautam, HC Yogender, Ct. Ram Swaroop and Ct. Pardeep. Ct. Rakesh, Ct. Jitender and Ct. Ashish, under the overall supervision of Sh. Kulbir Singh, ACP/Chhawla.
The team swung into action and the said auto-rickshaw was located through live location of GPS at Kanjhawala. The Team immediately reached at spot but till then the accused had fled from there with auto-rickshaw. The team again locates the current position of Auto-Rickshaw through GPS and also deployed its resources. These efforts of the team bore result when the team nabbed one of the accused Rahul @ Poli S/o Deep Kumar R/o 214, Kaba Mohalla, Village- Chhawla, Delhi, aged 21 yrs. from Village Jharoda Kalan. He disclosed the name of his other associate as Ravi @ Lokesh @ Vicky R/o Village-Kharkhoda, Distt. Sonepat (HR), who is still absconding and efforts are in progress to apprehend him also. One robbed Auto-Rickshaw (Number withheld) and one mobile has been recovered from his possession.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, Rahul @ Poli S/o Deep Kumar R/o 214, Kaba Mohalla, Village- Chhawla, Delhi aged- 21 yrs. admitted the commission of the robbery along with his associate Ravi. He further disclosed that after robbing the driver they took over his cloth and not even left his under garments so that he cannot approach anyone for help and they will get time to escape.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
Rahul @ Polly S/o Deep Kumar R/o 214, Kaba Mohalla, Village- Chhawla, Delhi aged- 21 yrs. – He studied up to 10th class from Govt. School Village-Kanganheri, Delhi. His father expired in 2015 and his mother works as casual labour for earning livelihood. He also worked as private electrician. He got mixed up with bad company and started committing Snatching, theft & robbery and was arrested first time in 2017 in theft case. He had been committing crime in the area of Delhi and Haryana.
