Arrested three accused person in 24 hours and recovered the HONDA CITY car

New Delhi : On 11.06.2019 at about 09:30 PM, a person along with his Honda City car No. DL-9C AL7013 was abducted from road side of Sector-20, Dwarka, Delhi by three unidentified persons. He was threatened to kill if he will make any noise in the car. He was then driven to a secluded Najafgarh Drain Road and thrown abandoned after robbing his purse containing Rs. 29,000/-, documents and mobile phone. After leaving the victim, the trio escaped with the Honda City car and robbed articles.

INFORMATION

Within an hour of committing the robbery, ASI Mahesh Tyagi posted at Anti Snatching Team of Sub-Division, Dwarka received a secret information through his vide network of informers that the a

Honda city car was seen in possession of one Ankit @ Jatin of Village Bagdola and his two unknown associates. The description given by the informer about his associates and Honda city car matched the description given by the victim.

TEAM AND OPERATION

Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case, the information received by ASI Mahesh Tyagi was shared with senior officer and a immediately a team under the supervision of Sh. Rajender Singh,

ACP/Dwarka was formed in the leadership of Insp. Santan Singh Rawat, SHO/Dwarka Sec. 23, Delhi and Insp. R. Sriniwasan ATO Dwarka, Sec. 23 Delhi comprising SI Vijaypal, SI Vivek Maindola, ASI Randhawa, ASI Mahesh Tyagi, HC Subhash No. 1304/DW, HC Jai Prakash No , Ct. Bharat and Ct. Rajinder to nab the criminals. The team quickly concentrated on the location of suspect Ankit @ Jatin Yadav and found that he is moving in different places in Baisru, Sampla of Haryana. Immediately two groups out of the above said team was formed to nab the suspect. The team then closed on the location but every time suspected found already left location as they were moving in a very high speed. The team did not loss hope and continuously trailed the accused and finally through their sheer determination and high sense of professionalism paid off. Based on his location, the suspects were closed in on Village Bharthal, Delhi and were apprehended after an inescapable chase.

DETAILS OF ACCUSED

1. Jatin Yadav @ Ankit S/o Satish Yadav R/o Vill. Bagdola Dwarka, Delhi. Age 24 years.

2. Imtiyaaz Khan @ Rahul S/o Ali Mohammad R/o Village Bagdola, age 20 years.

3. Chirag Yadav S/o Rajiv Yadav R/o H.No 58, Village Bagdola Delhi, age-19 years.

INTERROGATION

During the interrogation, Ankit @ Jatin Yadav disclosed that he was brought in Village Bagdola, Delhi. He left his studies after 10th standard and got in the company of bad people. During this period he came into the contact of Imtiyaaz Ali and Chirag Yadav of same locality and one Deepak Gehlot who used to meet him in Palam Village Delhi and was indulged in the trade of illicit liquor. Deepak Gahlot contacted accused Jatin @ Ankit Yadav to supply him cars for transporting the illicit liquor from Haryana to Meerut UP. Previously the accused persons tried their luck to rob a car but

both the times they failed to rob a car. Then they searched their prey near wine shop where people were more vulnerable. They then selected one person coming out of a Honda City car and quickly

overpowered him and took him to secluded road at Chhawla and left him. Then they went to Sampla to deliver the car but Deepak Gahlot did not pick up his phone which made him to retreat to Delhi and in between they were apprehended by the police.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED ANKIT @ JATIN YADAV

Accused Jatin @ Jatin Yadav was born at Village Bagdola Delhi. He studied till class 10th and then left his studies. After leaving the school he came into the contact of bad people of the same locality

and started involving himself in quarrels and petty theft. During this period he came into the contact of Imtiyaaz Ali and Chirag Yadav of same locality and one Deepak Gehlot who used to do the trade of illicit liquor. Deepak Gehlot contacted accused Jatin @ Ankit Yadav to supply him cars for transporting the illicit liquor from Haryana to Meerut UP.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED IMTEYIAZ ALI

He was born in Delhi and his family hails from Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. He studied till 8th class and left his studies due to family problem and came into the contact of bad elements i.e. Jatin @ Ankit Yadav and Chirag Yadav and started consuming smack (drug). He was then approached by Jatin @ Ankit Yadav to start business of illicit liquor and profit behind it. He then committed the

robbery with his associate and robbed Honda City car.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED CHIRAG YADAV

He was born in Village Bagdola. He studied till 12th class. His father remained ill most of the time due to which his family lost control upon him. He then came into the contact of Jatin @ Ankit

Yadav, Imtiyaz and started taking drugs. To support his drug habit, he got involved in petty thefts. He joined Imtiyaaz and Jatin @ Ankit Yadav in doing the trade of illicit liquor. He then committed the robbery with his associate and robbed Honda City car.
