POLICE TEAM DIG OUT THE ACCUSED AFTER TRAILING THE TRACES ON ROADS BY SCANNING CCTV FOOTAGE FOR 27 MILES OVER LAST 7 DAYS.
SHOOTERS NOT ONLY CHANGED MOTORCYCLE BUT THEIR CLOTHES ALSO TO REMAIN UNTRACED.
RAIDS WAS CONDUCTED IN SEVERAL CITIES OF 7 STATES TO TRACE OFFENDERS WHO ONLY USED WHATSAPP CALLS.

IT WAS TO BE A REVENGE KILLING AS MAIN CONSPIRATOR CHINTU WANTED TO REVENGE DEATH OF HIS UNCLE.
New Delhi : A Joint team of police officials of Special Staff/AATS & PS Dwarka North of Dwarka District led by Rajender Singh, ACP/Dwarka and comprising Insp. Sanjay Kumar, SHO/Dwarka (North), Insp. Naveen Kumar, Insp. Ramkishan, Insp. Rajender, SI Arvind, SI Manjeet, SI Hari Singh, SI Ranjeev Tyagi, SI Krishan Gopal, SI Birender,ASI Mahender, ASI Umesh, ASI Rajender, HC Surender, Ct Sandeep, Ct Ashwani, Ct Kulbhushan, Ct Praveen & Ct Ashok, under the close supervision of Sh. R.P.Meena, Addl.DCP and Sh. Anto Alfonse, DCP/Dwarka District arrested the accused who were involved in sensational & blind broad day light shootout at public road which left a lady battling for life due to gunshot injury in neck. The incident was registered vide FIR No. 252/19 U/S 307 IPC 25/27 Arms Act dt 11.07.19 PS Dwarka North.
INCIDENT
On 11.07.19, information was received at Control Room of Dwarka Distt at about 08:00 AM, regarding gunshot injury to a lady near Radisson Blue Hotel Sec-13 Dwarka. Information was registered at concerned PS Dwarka North vide DD No. 22 A dated 11.07.19. Police teams reached at the spot and found one Datson Go car DL 8CAR-4203 in accident condition state and with blood on seats. It was ascertained that two bike borne boys had fired upon the lady driving the car and the victim with gunshot injury was rushed to Venkteshwara Hospital Sector- 18 Dwarka. The victim was reportedly returning in her car alone after droping her son at school nearby. On reaching hospital, it was ascertained that lady had got bullet injury and she is not fit to make any statement so far. As there was no eye-witness or complainant FIR No. 252/19 U/S 307 IPC 25/27 Arms Act PS Dwarka North was registered same day, on DD entry.
TEAM AND OPRERATION
DCP/Dwarka immediately swung into action immediately and called officials from Spl.Staff, AATS, Cyber Cell & Police Station Dwarka (North) at the spot. All out efforts were started to work out the blind gruesome attempt to murder case which had resulted in panic and outrage in the locality. For better output, 07 teams of above Units was formed and specified tasks were allotted to them. The team put all its resources, including manual and technical surveillance. All the contacts and friends/relatives of the victim and her husband were interrogated to get any clue. It had been ascertained that victim was a property consultant in Dwarka/Najafgarh area and her husband was living separately as they had strained relations. Enquiries on this line did not yield much information. Dump data analysis did not yield any result as they did not use mobile network. CDRs of several numbers was analysed alongwith the CCTV footages from several cameras. Though the scene of crime was a public road at busy time, there was no eye-witness who could provide any clue about the offenders. Though one by-stander told that two boys, both wearing helmets on a motorcycle, fired upon the victim while she was driving her car and fled immediately after firing. The team started to link up the missing leads connecting scene of crime with the criminals. CCTV footages, amounting to thousands of hours, from all the available cameras on all possible routes taken by the shooters were analysed. This exercise resulted in identification of the vehicle used by the shooters and the clothes worn by them. The team faced hardship as criminals, ensuring extra care and cleverness to remain untraced, not only changed their motorcycle on the way but their clothes also after few kilometers. But this only started uncovering them. Team started trailing their CCTV footage and reached upto their residence area in village Chhota Bans, Bhati Khurd Fatehpur Beri Delhi where they were identified by locals from CCTV footages. But as they were absconding from their houses, several teams were constituted to arrest them. Their CDRs were analysed and it resulted in arrest of main conspirator Chadraprakash @ Chintu from Najafgarh on 23.07.19, whose interrogation resulted in arrest of other four persons including the shooters- Giriraj Tomar and Pinku on the same day. Three pistols, 15 live rounds and two motorcycles were recovered alongwith Rs. 90,000/- in cash.
INTERROGATION
Accused Chandraprakash @ Chintu is resident of Delhi and is 12th pass. He was working as tour and travel service provider but the business was not yielding enough income. He started committing crime in the area and was arrested in 2015 in a murder case of PS Najafgarh. During his jail term he came into contact with several criminals and became their friends. Giri Raj Singh Tomar was also jailed in a rape case and in another case. His uncle Premchand was engaged in Property business in Najafgarh area. He came into contact with the lady victim of this case and both became friends. In December last year his uncle Sh Premchand, committed suicide and his aunt held the friendship with the lady victim responsible for his suicide. Chandra Prakash pledged to take revenge for the death of his uncle. He contacted his jail time friend Giri Raj Singh and asked to murder the lady and deal was fixed for Rs. 5 lakh in Jan 2019. He paid Rs. 2 lakh advance also and provided vital information about the lady. Giri Raj accepted the offer and roped in his friends to complete the task. While Gulab arranged for weapons, Narender arranged for motorcycles. 11.07.19 Giri Raj Singh and Pinku came to Dwarka and intercepted the victim near school of her child. They trailed her on motorcycle and fired upon her near the round about opposite Radisson Blue hotel Dwarka. They fled from the scene. On the way, to remain in disguise, they changed motorcycles and clothes worn by them. But police traced them.
Giri Raj Singh and Pinku have also confessed that they had committed robbery of Rs. 7 lakh from a car in Maidan Garhi area and have not been yet arrested in that case.
ARRESTED PERSONS
(1) Chandraprakash @ Chintu R/O Dharmapura, Najafgarh, ND. Age 27 Yrs (previously involved in a murder case of PS Najafgarh).
(2) Gulab R/ Distt- Meerut (UP). Age 27 Yrs (previously involved in a robbery case of PS NFC).
(3) Abhishek @ Pinku R/O Bhati Khurd, Fatehpur Beri, ND. Age- 23 Yrs. (previously involved in 2 cases of robbery and rape. He was on parole from 02.07.19 to 16.07.19 and jumped parole thereafter)
(4) Giri Raj Singh Tomar R/O Patparganj, Delhi . Age 26 Yrs. (Previously involved in 2 cases of rape and robbery. He has jumped parole in January)
(5) Narender @ Neeru R/O Fatehpur Beri, ND. Age- 33 Yrs. (previously involved in 27cases of theft and robbery and is also a BC)
