

On the night of 04.10.19, the Crack team of PS Mansarovar Park comprising SI Jatan Singh, ASI jeetpal 437/SHD, Ct Rajeev 1153/SHD and Ct Amit 1880/SHD with beat constable Ct Virat 806/SHD was conducting vehicles checking at Mansarovar Park, GT Road Fly over picket. During checking, a Honda City car Silver color bearing No. DL4CAD0030, coming from Shahdara side was stopped by Ct Rajeev and Ct Amit for checking. Meantime, another Honda city car UP14AC2348 also came there, which was stopped by ASI Jeetpal. Drivers of both the cars were asked to produce relevant documents of their cars to prove their ownership. But, both of them, neither produced any document nor gave any satisfactory answer to prove the ownership of their cars. After noticing their suspicious behavior, SI Jatan interrogated them thoroughly.
INTERROGATION
During interrogation, the person who was driving Honda city car UP14AC2348 was identified as Kasim R/o Mohalla- Jagat, Near Hind Inter college, Dist- Sambhal, UP, Age- 24 Yrs, who disclosed that he has taken this car on rent from a person namely Ali s/o unknown for Rs 15000/- per month and uses the same as Taxi from Sambhal to Delhi. He does not know the address of Ali, but he use to meet him at Roadways Bus Stand, Sambhal. Later on, SI Jatan checked the engine and chassis number of car, but same were found unreadable due to scratches over both the numbers.
Further, another Honda city DL4CAD0030 which was driven by Mohd. Arif R/o Mohalla Raishakti, Shahbajpura, Gulab wali masjid ke samne, Dist- Sambhal (UP), Aged- 40 Yrs. was checked and engine & chassis numbers of this car were also found not readable. During interrogation, Mohd. Aarif disclosed that he used to steal cars with another associate from Sambhal (UP), who runs a shop of sale/purchase and repairing of cars. Further, after theft, his associate used to take out valuable parts from those vehicles and further sell them at car-repairing shops at Sambhal. At the instance of above Mohd. Arif, three stolen Maruti Ecco No. DL4CAS1830, DL9CL7276 and DL1CW1240 were also recovered from Empty ground, Lal bagh Jhuggi, Near Railway Line.

Two Honda City Cars ( Both the cars are being verified)
Three Maruti Ecco. ( Found stolen from various places of Delhi.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1. Mohd. Arif R/o Mohalla Raishakti, Shahbajpura, Gulab wali masjid ke samne, Dist- Sambhal (UP), AgeD- 40 Yrs. was born in a middle class family and he has more than 10 previous criminal involvements of vehicle theft.
2. Kasim R/o Mohalla- Jagat, Near Hind Inter college, Dist- Sambhal, UP, Aged 24 Yrs.was born in a poor family. According to the available record, he has no previous criminal involvement , but he has been suspected to be part of the auto lifters gang due to his driving skill.
Further investigation/interrogation is on to know their other involvements.
