INTRODUCTION
Yuva, an initiative of Delhi Police is being implemented under the aegis of PMKVY Scheme in North East District. Training partner Mosaic has been imparting skill training to candidates in the job roles of Makeup Artist, Mobile handset Repairing, Domestic and Data Entry Operator. There are 02 skill training centers running in North East District in PS-New Usmanpur and PS-Jyoti Nagar.
OBJECTIVE OF YUVA
Yuva programme has been initiated, with the motto to provide job opportunities to the youth after providing them skill training.
JOB FAIR
Today on 07.06.19, North East District Police has organized a job fair at its Jyoti Nagar Centre’ for the trainees of various centers running in Delhi under Yuva initiative. It was a joint effort of Delhi police, CII and Mosaic Skills Pvt. Ltd (under PMKVY). Sh. D.C. Srivastava, Jt.CP/SR has also graced the function. There were total 16 companies like Karvy, Intarvo, TCCS BPO, Sodexo, Care Car Expert, New Allenberry Work (Hi-tech), Rockman (Hi-tech), Bony polymers (Hi- tech), HGS, Pvt. Ltd, Myntra, Deal Money, Pace setters, Body essentials beauty & wellness, Notion mline solution, Pvt. Ltd and Maxposure Media Group India (Pvt. Ltd.) participated in the Job fair for recruiting trainees. Total 450 trainees participated in the job fair from various centers across Delhi and 312 among them got placement. So far 23 batches have completed their training in both training centers of North East District and 10 batches are under training. Team members of Training partner Mosaic have also been doing a commendable job.
